Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
MessageGateBot stores the minimum data needed to deliver your messages:
- Telegram chat ID — identifies where to deliver messages.
- API key — a UUID generated for authentication.
- Message thread ID — for group topic delivery (if applicable).
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not store your message content. Messages are forwarded to Telegram and discarded.
- We do not store uploaded files. Files are relayed to Telegram and immediately freed from memory.
- We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services.
- We do not collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or device information beyond what is needed for rate limiting.
3. How Data Is Used
Your chat ID and API key are used solely to authenticate requests and route messages to the correct Telegram chat. No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
4. Data Retention
Your chat ID and API key are stored for as long as your account is active. You can revoke your API key at any time by sending /newkey to the bot, which invalidates the old key. If you block or stop the bot, your data will remain until manually purged.
5. Third-Party Services
Messages are delivered via the Telegram Bot API. Your message content is subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy. We do not use any other third-party services for data processing.
6. Security
All API traffic is served over HTTPS. API keys are UUIDs with no embedded personal information. Rate limiting is enforced to prevent abuse.
