Terms of Service
Last updated: February 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the MessageGateBot API or Telegram bot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
MessageGateBot provides an HTTP API gateway that forwards messages, photos, and documents to Telegram chats. The service acts as a relay — it does not store message content or files.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MessageGateBot to:
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk advertising.
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful content.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Violate any applicable laws or Telegram's Terms of Service.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service.
4. API Keys
Your API key is personal and should be kept confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your key. If you suspect unauthorized use, rotate your key immediately with /newkey.
5. Rate Limits
The API enforces rate limits (currently 60 requests per minute) to ensure fair usage. Exceeding these limits will result in 429 responses. Persistent abuse may lead to key revocation.
6. Service Availability
MessageGateBot is provided on an "as-is" basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
7. No Warranty
The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including lost messages or delivery failures.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to revoke API keys or block access for users who violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by simply not making API requests.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Contact
